Whether you're in the backyard for a neighborhood barbecue or heading to the cabin for a weekend away, portable tunes are a must-have. The Marshall Middleton portable Bluetooth speaker is certainly one of the most visually appealing with its classic black and brass colorway design.

Of course, since it's Marshall, it also brings epic sound quality. PCMag, sister publication of Mashable that's also owned by Ziff Davis, gave the Marshall Middleton an "Excellent" rating, noting the powerful audio that combines deep base with bright highs. "The Marshall Middleton’s rock-inspired ethos isn’t just surface-deep; its drivers can fill most indoor and outdoor spaces with robust stereo sound. We’re also fans of its slick onboard controls and durable build," writes Tim Gideon, a contributing editor for PCMag.

Marshall estimates users will get up to 20 hours of battery life with a single charge which means you might make it though the entire weekend without needing to plug in. But if you do, not to worry because re-charging takes just 4.5 hours.
