Chewy spring sale
Spend $100, get a $30 e-gift card with code SPRING

You can say you're doing a no-buy or low-buy 2025 all you want. But if you have pets, there's going to be some buying involved.

Stocking up during a Chewy sale is one way to save strategically on supplies you'd be spending money on, anyway. Between now and March 2, all orders of $100 or more on Chewy unlock a free $30 e-gift card to use on a later order — which kind of indirectly equates to a savings of 30% on a $100 purchase. Just use code SPRING at checkout.

This event goes far past the expected food, treats, and litter, too. A ton of toys, supplements, beds, carriers, cat trees and scratchers, leashes, bowls, and more are also up for grabs.

If you can topple $100 before even getting halfway through your shopping list, just know that splitting your orders up to get more $30 gift cards is possible. There's a three order-limit per customer, which could add up to $90 worth of free pet stuff. Other limitations include a small list of brands that are excluded from the sale, plus select prescription items.

This Chewy sale is a great opportunity to snag some items to donate to your local animal shelters or independent rescues, too — they're probably overflowing, and kitten season is on the horizon.

Leah Stodart is a Philadelphia-based Senior Shopping Reporter at Mashable where she covers essential home tech like vacuums and TVs as well as sustainable swaps and travel. Her ever-growing experience in these categories comes in clutch when making recommendations on how to spend your money during shopping holidays like Black Friday, which Leah has been covering for Mashable since 2017.

The robot vacuum beat in particular has cemented itself as Leah's main ~thing~ across the past few years. Since 2019, her expertise has been perpetually bolstered by the meticulous eye she keeps on robot vacuum deals and new releases, but more importantly, her hands-on experience with more than 25 robot vacuums tested in her own home. (This number has probably gone up by the time you're reading this.) That at-home testing is standardized through Mashable's robot testing guide — a granular scoring rubric for assessing all aspects of owning and using a robot vacuum on the daily — that Leah created herself.

Leah graduated from Penn State University in 2016 with dual degrees in Sociology and Media Studies. When she's not writing about shopping (or shopping online for herself), she's almost definitely watching a horror movie, "RuPaul's Drag Race," or "The Office."
